I am so tired of the republicans not apologizing. Like Virginia Foxx. She issued a half hearted apology. It is like gays aren't actual people. When will people realize that we do not want special rights just equal rights? I can only imagine the outrage if this was in reference to a black or hispanic person. It just goes to show how far gays need to go.

I am lucky. Lucky I have a supportive family and friends. Coming out wasn't as hard as most people have it. And contrary to popular opinion, most gays do not advertise it. Ok except for some exceptions. Sometimes it comes out. For example, when I started with Verizon, there was a guy named Dan who liked me. Not that he was annoying but it got to the point where I had to come out and say. I am gay. My aunt calls and asks about boys. I don't feel the need to tell her. Does that make sense?

Crazy ass few months...Being unemployed is fun to a point. I didn't get as much reading as I would like done. I am working on that.  I am working on mending a relationship. I think it's going to be better. But time will tell.
